songs 2 grow ur hair out 2 is my first full-length album, released on July 31, 2020, under my artist name ratgirlforever. Coming in at 11 tracks, 27 minutes, and 44 seconds, this album was made right as I was coming out (as a trans woman, a.k.a., as Juliet). Inspirations for this album come from Spotify’s made-up genres “hyperpop” and “bedroom pop,” as well as my incredibly anxious feelings about being a trans woman, and also my incredibly anxious feelings about girls!

Full honesty, I think this album is cringe and bad, but the messiness is very much a product of how my life was going at the time. Though the final track, ‘wintertime,’ is lowkey still the best song I ever made.
